Terms of Service
Last Updated: 31 October 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are entered into by ReasonEra (“ReasonEra”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). ReasonEra is a service provided by a private individual.
These Terms govern your access to and use of the website www.reasonera.com (the “Site”) and the AI-powered puzzle-solving service made available through the Site (the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Site or Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Site or Service.
For information about how we handle personal data, please see our Privacy Policy. For information about refunds, please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Description of Service
ReasonEra provides an Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool designed to analyze and generate potential solutions to logical reasoning puzzles submitted by users, including via image upload (for example, screenshots). Access to the core AI puzzle-solving functionality is provided through a paid 7-Day Pass.
3. User Accounts and Purchases
Access to the Service requires an active paid 7-Day Pass. You may be required to register an account and provide billing information through our Merchant of Record and payment provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep that information up to date. You may not share your account or allow others to access the Service using your credentials.
4. Payments, Access, and Refunds
- Payment & Access: The Service is offered as a 7-Day Pass for a one-time payment at the price shown on the Site (currently 49 €). Access begins immediately upon successful payment and expires automatically after 7 days. This is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Merchant of Record: Billing, payment processing, invoicing, and tax/VAT compliance are handled by our third-party payment provider and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. By making a purchase, you are entering into a contract with Paddle and agree to their applicable buyer terms in addition to ours.
- Refunds: Our general refund approach, including eligibility for full or partial refunds, is described in detail in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to that policy.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the price for the 7-Day Pass at any time. Prices for purchases made before a change will not be affected.
5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days.
However, this right is lost if you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the loss of your right. By purchasing access to our Service, you (1) expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract (i.e., granting you access to the service), and (2) acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal.
Our voluntary refund policy, as detailed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, is offered in addition to these statutory rules.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You specifically agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Service, the server(s) on which the Service is hosted, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, replicate, or otherwise attempt to discover or extract the source code, model weights, architecture, or underlying algorithms of the AI model or the Service.
- Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Service.
We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the misuse of the Service, including use for cheating, academic dishonesty, or violation of law.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
- Our Intellectual Property: The Site, the Service, the AI model, and all related content, features, user interface elements, logos, branding, text, code, and graphics are the exclusive property of ReasonEra and/or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- Your Content: You retain ownership of the images and content you upload to the Service. By submitting content (for example, uploading a puzzle screenshot), you grant ReasonEra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited licence to process that content for the purposes of (a) providing the Service to you, (b) operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the Service, and (c) complying with legal obligations and preventing abuse.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- "As Is" / "As Available": The Site and Service are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or reliability.
- AI Limitations: You acknowledge that artificial intelligence systems can make mistakes. The output you receive from the Service may be incomplete, ambiguous, or incorrect. We do not warrant that any solution, explanation, or reasoning provided by the Service is factually accurate, logically sound, or appropriate for any given use case. You should independently verify any important output.
- Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReasonEra, its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, successors, and assigns shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with (a) your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Site or the Service, or (b) any reliance you place on output generated by the Service, even if foreseeable.
- Misuse: We are not liable for any consequences resulting from your misuse of the Service (including, but not limited to, attempts to use the Service for cheating, credential theft, or other prohibited or unlawful purposes).
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe that (a) you have breached these Terms, (b) your use poses security, legal, financial, reputational, or operational risk to us or to other users, or (c) we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service at any time; your access will expire at the end of your 7-Day Pass.
Termination or suspension may result in the deactivation or deletion of your access credentials and/or associated content.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice (for example by posting a notice on the Site). The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will always tell you when these Terms were last revised.
Your continued access to or use of the Site or Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
