AI Verbal Reasoning Solver

Upload a verbal reasoning passage and statement, get True, False or Cannot Say in seconds, and see the evidence.

The short answer

ReasonEra is an AI solver and tutor for verbal reasoning questions. You upload a screenshot or photo of a passage and statement; it returns the answer, usually True, False or Cannot Say, and, in Tutor Explanation mode, the part of the passage that supports it. Treat it as a way to practise and understand.

How to use the verbal reasoning solver

  1. Screenshot, then upload. Frame the entire question with its options. Practice material you can legitimately use works best.
  2. Use the browser version. Go to ReasonEra and upload the image. No download or pairing step is needed.
  3. Select a mode. Answer-only for a self-check, or step-by-step rules for a proper explanation.

What verbal reasoning questions look like

Verbal reasoning questions give you a short passage and ask whether a statement is true, false or cannot be determined from the passage alone. The skill is separating what the text says from what you know or assume.

Worked example: True, False or Cannot Say

Question: Passage: "A company introduced a four-day working week for its design team in January. Early surveys show that 82% of the team prefer the new schedule. The company has not yet reviewed whether client satisfaction has changed." Statement 1: A majority of the design team prefer the new schedule. Statement 2: Client satisfaction has fallen.

Answer: Statement 1 is True. Statement 2 is Cannot Say.

How the reasoning goes:

  1. Statement 1: 82% is more than half, and the passage says so directly. That is True.
  2. Statement 2: the passage says client satisfaction has not been reviewed, so there is no evidence that it fell.
  3. Use only the passage. Ignore what seems likely in real life.
  4. Choose Cannot Say when the passage is silent, not False.

How accurate is the verbal reasoning solver?

The benchmark ReasonEra published does not break out this question type, so we make no accuracy claim for it. Try a few questions during your free trials and see. Numerical and verbal questions were not part of that benchmark.

Practice tips

  • Underline the claim in the statement, then find it in the passage.
  • Treat absolute words as a warning sign.
  • Choose Cannot Say only when the passage is silent.
  • Do not use outside knowledge.

Limits to know about

  • Sharp, complete screenshots work best; low resolution can make small shapes or digits ambiguous.
  • Some puzzles have more than one defensible answer, and the tool may pick a different one from the answer key.
  • Statements that hinge on a word such as "only" or "most" deserve a second look at the passage.
  • Read the reasoning, not just the answer: a wrong explanation is your cue to double-check the result.

Study with it, then sit the test on your own

The aim is that you recognise the rule yourself next time. Treat each explanation as a lesson, and follow the conditions set out in your assessment invitation.
